Four - Gold Is Good
In early November there was a technical signal in precious metals that’s been evident at the start of every major price advance in history, with a very high hit rate.
Going back as far as my data goes, over 100 years, such a signal occurs on average once per decade. Most of my work, and my best returns both long and short, has been in metals in large part per leaning heavily on that signal.
Reliable cycle studies suggest an epic run starting in 2022 or 2023, as does where we are in the market mania’s unwinding and rotation of interest rates.
And consider this:
I won’t waste my time or yours pointlessly pontificating on the Fed’s resolve, inflation, flights to safety, fantasies of a silver short squeeze, or any such things.
Rather keep it simple with immutable truths: only gold is money, pigs are pigs, and all fiat currencies ever approach zero while every empire dies under the weight of its own complacency, hubris and profligate moral corruption and overreaching ambitions.
Don’t let the same happen to your family’s future purchasing power.
The obvious choice within this theme is bullion, or an ETF tied directly to the price of gold. Yes, but what fun would that be?
I like a few royalty plays, but the one I’ve owned longest and am most comfortable with is Gold Royalty Corp. (GROY) .

While precious metals, and to a lesser degree energy - mostly uranium and increasingly oil - and lithium made up the majority of my portfolio the past couple years, GROY itself weighs in at #11. If I added its warrants it’d be #7.
My average on GROY is $3.25 and $0.31 on its warrants.
Last closes were $2.60 and $0.21 respectively.
